18 Returning Officers Swear Oaths

Multan: The district administration commenced preparations for the forthcoming general election, with 18 returning officers—six for the National Assembly seats and twelve for the Provincial Assembly—officially took oaths on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner Rizwan Qadir was sworn in as the district returning officer in the presence of election commission officials and other district authorities. During the ceremony, Rizwan Qadir emphasized the importance of working impartially, free from any external influences, throughout the election process.

Among those taking the oath as returning officers for the six National Assembly seats were Mohammed Arshad Gopang, Additional Commissioner (Revenue) for NA 148 Multan-1; Faizan Ahmed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) for NA 149 Multan-II; Attaul Haq, Additional Secretary of Higher Education Department, South Punjab, for NA-150 Multan-III; Asif Rauf, DG PHA for NA-151 Multan-IV; Fayyaz Ali, Assistant Commissioner of Shujabad for NA-152 Multan-V; and Mirza Raheel Baig, Assistant Commissioner of Jalapur Pirwala, for NA-153 Multan-VI.”
