160 New Dengue Cases Confirmed in Punjab

Lahore: The Punjab Health Department confirmed 160 new dengue cases on Friday, with Rawalpindi reporting 129 cases.

 Lahore recorded nine cases, while Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, and Sargodha reported smaller numbers. The total number of dengue cases in Punjab for 2024 has reached 3,136.

Hospitals are equipped with necessary medicines and treatments. The public is urged to maintain clean environments to prevent mosquito breeding. A dengue helpline (1033) has been set up for further assistance.
