152 New Dengue Cases in Punjab, Pindi Worst Affected

Lahore: The Punjab Health Department has confirmed 152 new dengue cases across the province in the past 24 hours. Rawalpindi remains the hardest-hit area, reporting 133 new cases.
Lahore recorded four cases, while two cases were reported in Chakwal. Additionally, three cases were detected in both Gujranwala and Attock, and one case each was reported in Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Layyah.
In the past week, 746 new cases have been registered, bringing the total number of dengue cases in Punjab this year to 2,117.
A spokesperson for the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department reassured the public that the government is actively managing the outbreak. All government hospitals are adequately stocked with necessary medicines and treatments for dengue patients.
Health authorities have issued an advisory urging residents to maintain clean and dry surroundings to help curb the spread of the virus. Health teams are working across the province, but officials emphasize that citizen cooperation is essential to controlling the outbreak.
