Islamabad: The Punjab Cattle Market Management and Development Company has introduced a new helpline, 1233, to provide information on cattle purchases.
This initiative aims to streamline the cattle buying process and provide accessible information to the public.
According to Punjab Local Government Minister Zeeshan Rafique, the facility includes a convenient payment-on-delivery option for online cattle purchases.
This move is part of a broader effort to modernize and enhance the cattle market infrastructure in the region.
Minister Rafique also announced that 20 model cattle markets are under construction, following directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
These markets are designed to provide state-of-the-art facilities and services to buyers and sellers.
Additionally, model cattle markets will be established along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route, further boosting trade and economic activity in the area.
This initiative reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to improving the livestock sector and supporting local economies, he said.
