10 Policemen Martyred in DI Khan Terrorist Attack

DI Khan: In the early hours of Monday, a tragic incident unfolded as a group of terrorists targeted a police station in DI Khan, resulting in the martyrdom of 10 policemen and injuries to nine others.

According to the police, the attack occurred in Tehsil Daraban of DI Khan late on Sunday night when terrorists launched a coordinated assault on the police station. The assailants, attacking from all directions, threw hand grenades and engaged in intense gunfire.

Despite the swift retaliation from security officials, the terrorists, taking advantage of the darkness, managed to evade capture. All injured personnel were promptly transported to DHQ Hospital for medical treatment.

In response to the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area, initiating a comprehensive search operation.

It’s worth noting that this is not the first attack on the Daraban police station. On December 12, 2023, terrorists targeted the same station, causing the martyrdom of three police officers.

During that attack, the terrorists used an explosive-laden vehicle, striking the main gate of the police station, and leaving 16 security personnel wounded.
