Zaid Hussain Nawaz’s Nikah Ceremony Held at Jati Umrah

Lahore: The Nikah ceremony of Zaid Hussain Nawaz, grandson of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, was held on Wednesday night at Jati Umrah, Lahore, attended by both local and international guests.

Zaid Hussain Nawaz tied the knot with Aiman Habibi, daughter of renowned industrialist Sheikh Habib-ur-Rehman.

The wedding festivities commenced with the Nikah ceremony, which coincided with the Henna celebration at Jati Umrah.

Approximately 500 guests were present at the event. The wedding reception will take place on December 27, followed by the grand Valima ceremony on December 29, with 700 guests expected.

Prominent attendees at the Nikah included Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, former Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Ali Dar, Junaid Safdar, Yusuf Abbas, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, and Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik.

Other notable participants included Khawaja Asif, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Parvez Rasheed, and Sohail Zia Butt, among others.

All members of the Sharif family residing abroad, including Asma Nawaz, the younger daughter of Nawaz Sharif, have returned to Pakistan for the occasion. Hussain Nawaz and his family have also arrived in Lahore to join the celebrations.

Strict security arrangements, managed by the Punjab Police, were put in place for the high-profile guests. Renowned Qawwal Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is scheduled to perform during the Henna ceremony. Enhanced security measures have been implemented in and around Jati Umrah for the events.
