ZABIST Announces AI Cup to Showcase Emerging Talent

Islamabad: The Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) has announced the 2nd annual ZAB Artificial Intelligence Cup, a two-day competition set to take place on December 18-19, bringing together AI enthusiasts from universities across Pakistan.
The event, organized by the Department of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, invites BS, MS, and PhD students in computing and related fields to showcase their skills in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).
Teams of two will tackle challenging datasets and develop ML/DL models with the aim of achieving high accuracy within a timed three-hour session.
The competition, designed to foster innovation, teamwork, and practical problem-solving skills, offers cash prizes of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000, and Rs. 20,000 for the top three teams.
Prospective participants can register through an online form, with a deadline for registration on November 29.
