Islamabad: Pakistani showbiz’s beloved duo, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, have once again stolen the spotlight with their mesmerizing transformation into the iconic Mughal-era characters, Salim and Anarkali.
The on-screen pair, affectionately known as “Yemahaj,” shared a breathtaking photoshoot on social media, instantly going viral and sparking speculation about a possible historical project. Fans eagerly wondered if the duo was set to star in a Mughal-themed drama or film.
However, the regal look was later revealed to be part of a clothing campaign for renowned Pakistani fashion designer Maria B.
While Wahaj’s portrait was in monochrome, the couple’s twinning white attire exuded royalty, leading fans to shower them with praise. Some even humorously suggested casting them in a remake of Mughal-e-Azam.
Yumna and Wahaj are among the most adored stars in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Yumna, known for her stellar performances in Parizaad, Sinf-e-Ahan, and Yeh Raha Dil, has garnered immense popularity beyond Pakistan, particularly in India.
Her role in Tere Bin (2023) was a massive success, breaking TRP records and further cementing her on-screen chemistry with Wahaj Ali as fan-favorite.
