Youth Commits Suicide Over Domestic Issues

Faisalabad: A youth reportedly committed suicide in the Saddar Jaranwala police limits on Saturday.

According to Police Spokesperson, Imran, a resident of Chak No. 23-GB, was dejected over domestic issues and hanged himself from a tree outside his home.

The police took custody of the body and initiated an investigation into the incident.

Drug Peddler Arrested

The police arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered over 10 kilograms of hashish during a raid in Dunyapur on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, City police Dunyapur apprehended Mujahid Taili and seized 10.69kg of hashish and Rs1900 from his possession, according to a police spokesperson.

District Police Officer (DPO) Kamran Mumtaz commended SHO (Station House Officer) Muhammad Raees Anwar and his team for their efforts, emphasizing that the crackdown on drug peddlers would continue across the district.
