Young People Embrace Gym Culture to Stay Healthy
News Desk
Islamabad: A growing number of young men and women are turning to gyms to improve their fitness and ward off heart conditions and other lifestyle-related diseases.
This renewed interest in physical activity reflects a rising awareness about health among the youth. Many have joined gyms for cardiovascular workouts, strength training, and mixed martial arts, aiming to build resilience against illness.
However, fitness experts caution that exercise alone is not enough. Gym trainers and owners stress the importance of holistic lifestyle changes.
“A healthy life isn’t just built in the gym—it starts in the kitchen,” said Coach Bilal Khan. Gym owner Umar Ahmed echoed the sentiment, emphasising the need to avoid unhealthy, high-fat foods and adopt dietary discipline.
While giving up indulgent food may be difficult, experts agree that maintaining good health requires sacrifice. As the old adage goes: if health is lost, everything is lost.
