Islamabad: The trailer of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy thriller Dhurandhar was unveiled on November 18, 2025, at the NMACC in Mumbai, drawing a strong response from fans ahead of its December 5 release.
While the cast and visuals drew attention, director Aditya Dhar surprised many by highlighting the contribution of a behind-the-scenes talent—his 22-year-old brother-in-law, Ojas Gautam.
Ojas, the younger brother of actress Yami Gautam, was publicly introduced by Dhar at the launch event. The filmmaker revealed that the young editor had played a key role in shaping the final cut of the trailer and had worked through intense hours in the lead-up to its release.
“It’s been almost 72–76 hours that this boy hasn’t slept. He was cutting this trailer till 4 am and then got it all done,” Dhar said, praising Ojas’s dedication. Cast member Arjun Rampal also walked over to embrace the young editor in appreciation during the event.
Dhar noted that Ojas has been closely involved with his projects since 2020–21, including his work on the long-gestating Ashwatthama. “He never stopped believing in me. One of the reasons I was able to make this film is because of his persistence,” Dhar added.
The trailer’s release, initially planned for November 12, was delayed due to concerns over Dharmendra’s health and the blasts in Delhi. Despite the postponement, the final cut has generated widespread conversation online. Many viewers praised the trailer’s editing, while some social media users questioned the long hours described at the event, raising concerns about work culture in the industry.
Dhurandhar features a star-studded ensemble including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. With the trailer gaining momentum and attention also turning to the young talent behind its creation, anticipation continues to build ahead of the film’s December release.
