Xiaomi Mix Flip Global Release Details

Islamabad: Xiaomi recently unveiled the Mix Flip in China as its first clamshell-style foldable phone. Alongside it, the company also introduced the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and the Redmi K70 Ultra.
The Mix Flip is expected to launch in global markets soon, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe. It is anticipated to become available after August 15, with a broader release expected in the first half of August.
In Europe, the Xiaomi Mix Flip is projected to be priced at BGN 2,600 (approximately Rs. 1,20,800). This price point is notably higher compared to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which starts at EUR 1,200 (around Rs. 1,09,300). In China, the base model of the Mix Flip is priced at CNY 5,999 (about Rs. 69,300).
Xiaomi Mix Flip Specifications
- Launched in China on July 19, the Xiaomi Mix Flip runs on HyperOS, based on Android 14. It features:
- Inner Screen: 6.86-inch 1.5K (1,224 x 2,912 pixels) flexible AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Cover Display: 4.01-inch 1.5K (1,392 x 1,280 pixels) AMOLED.
- The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and offers up to 16GB of RAM.
It includes:
Rear Cameras: A dual setup with a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV60A40 sensor with 2x optical zoom, both optimized by Leica.
Front Camera: 32-megapixel OV32B sensor for selfies and video calls.
The Mix Flip supports up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and offers various connectivity options, including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is equipped with a 4,780mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging via Type-C.
Additionally, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric security. When folded, the phone measures 167.5 x 74.02 x 16.19mm and weighs 192g.
