X to Launch Video Conferencing Tool with Unique Meeting Codes

News Desk

Islamabad: To stay competitive with established video conferencing platforms, X (formerly Twitter) is working on a new video conferencing tool. Under Elon Musk’s ownership, X has already tested the feature during an internal company conference, receiving positive feedback from employees.

Chris Park, an executive at X, shared that the tool will allow users to quickly start or schedule video meetings, similar to Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Hosts will be able to generate a unique code for each meeting, making it easy for participants to join.

While the precise launch date and availability are still to be confirmed, the feature is expected to roll out soon. It is not yet clear whether it will be available to all users or limited to subscribers, as many of X’s new features are currently exclusive to paying members. Elon Musk’s reaction to Chris Park’s announcement—a fire emoji—suggests his support for the new feature.
