World’s Largest Hand-Written Quran on Display

Mirpur: A rare and magnificent hand-written version of the world’s largest Holy Quran has been put on display for public viewing at the Kashmir Press Club in Mirpur, Azad Jammu Kashmir.
This extraordinary manuscript, measuring 41 feet long and 8.5 feet wide, was crafted by renowned religious scholar and calligrapher Pir Imtiaz Haider Shah Noorani Mujadadi, showcasing a marvel of Islamic calligraphy.
The three-day exhibition, which began on Sunday, offers visitors the chance to view this sacred manuscript, complete with Urdu translations of all verses. The event is open to the general public, including religious scholars, students, and individuals from all walks of life.
Pir Imtiaz Haider Shah Noorani Mujadadi revealed that it took 425 days to complete the manuscript and an additional three months to assemble it. The Quran has previously been displayed in various cities across Pakistan and is now being showcased in Mirpur for the first time.
The Kashmir Press Club has been chosen to host this revered exhibition, which is seen as a significant blessing and honor for the entire Muslim community. The display will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM until September 10, Tuesday, as announced by KPC President Syed Abid Hussain Shah.
