Karachi: The World Culture Festival Karachi, organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, continues to captivate audiences. On the 33rd day, the comedy theater play Boeing Boeing entertained a large audience at Auditorium I.

Written by Dr. Anwar Sajjad and directed by Azaib Khan, with Muhammad Asim as assistant director, the play featured Ahmer Hussain, Shizza Khan, Aqsa Gul, Ayaz Ali, Erum Bashir, and Hammad Khan in the cast.

The play, performed in Urdu and English, tells the story of Jamil, a witty bachelor juggling relationships with three unsuspecting fiancées, each an air hostess.

Chaos ensues when his friend Bashir Dar arrives, disrupting Jamil’s careful planning as all three women unexpectedly find themselves in the city simultaneously. The hall was filled with laughter as the actors delivered comedic performances, much to the audience’s delight.

President of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, announced free public access to the festival on Friday and Saturday.

The closing ceremony will feature performances by humorists Anwar Maqsood, Asim Azhar, and Tehzeeb Hafi, with artists from Switzerland set to perform on Wednesday. Shah also hinted at a larger festival planned for next year.
