Islamabad: A large event called the Islamabad Women Gala 2022 will be held at F-9 by the entrepreneurial group Lets’ Grow Together to support home-based women workers and artisans.

Women Gala Islamabad is a festive event that welcomes female entrepreneurs from all over the nation and more than 150 female entrepreneurs to take part in it in support of the local community of female entrepreneurs in Islamabad.

For the third time, a two-day colourful gala is being held, with up to 150 stalls of handmade goods made in Pakistan by women entrepreneurs, including a range of lifestyle exhibits like fashion products, home decor items, furniture, resin art, paintings, clothing, and jewellery. Some of the stalls are also given to kids to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in the next generation and engage them in positive activities.

“For the women’s gala, a food court will also be set up at F-9 Park to provide a range of delicacies for the families and guests in a cultural setting, while other stalls will be devoted to imported goods for the purpose of generating cash for female entrepreneurs,”said Lets Grow Together (LGT) Community Leader Ambreen Haider.

Let’s Grow Together Mission: LGT works to strengthen and support women in order to give them more power by making direct investments in the overall socioeconomic advancement of underprivileged groups residing in densely populated urban slums.

This initiative enhances women’s socioeconomic empowerment by giving them the tools they need to contribute more positively to society; which in turn helps them earn money and improve their financial situation, leading to higher self-esteem and lifelong employable skills.

It facilitates the beneficiaries through various platforms that are specifically designed to create business opportunities for small business owners at various venues where artisans can show off their wares, tell their entrepreneurial stories, lay out their own terms, and connect and network with one another, according to Ambreen Haider.

“Such events assist and empower women, educate children, enhance health, and enable communities to survive and succeed,” the statement continued. “We passionately believe in ‘buy local, support local,’ and this is why our community is developing at a large scale, she stated.
