Woman Strangled in Suspected Honor Killing in Layyah

Layyah: A married woman was reportedly strangled to death in what is suspected to be an honor killing in Chak No 318 TDA, within the jurisdiction of Chobara police station, Layyah.
According to police sources, 25-year-old Saleema Bibi, the wife of Waseem, was allegedly strangled to death by her brother-in-law, Muhammad Adeel.
However, her husband Waseem and father-in-law Younis are also suspected to have been involved in the crime. The deceased woman was a mother of three children.
After the criminal incident, the local police shifted the body to Chobara Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police have initiated investigation into the murder incident and raids are being conducted to apprehend the suspected murderers.
