Bridgeport: An American woman, Esperance Luminska Fiorzina, has set two Guinness World Records for the world’s most tattooed and most modified woman.

36-year-old Fiorzina has covered an astounding 99.98 per cent of her body with tattoos and undergone 89 body transformations, earning her two distinct world records.

From Bridgeport, Connecticut, Luminsk’a journey into body modification began 15 years ago when she got her first tattoo which was later covered by additional artwork. Around a decade ago, she underwent her first body modification procedure—a tongue splitting—which marked the start of her extensive transformations.

Fiorzina’s achievements surpass those of the previous record holder, Maria Jose Cristina, who set the record in 2012 with 49 modifications. Fiorzina’s 40 additional changes have solidified her status as a record-breaking figure in the world of body art.

Despite her extraordinary appearance, Luminska emphasizes that her journey has been a deeply personal one, driven by her love for self-expression through body art. Her unique transformation continues to inspire and challenge societal perceptions of beauty and individuality.
