Woman Mugged at Gunpoint in Islamabad’s F-8 Sector

Islamabad:  A woman was robbed at gunpoint by two assailants riding a motorcycle in the F-8 sector of Islamabad, police reported on Tuesday.

According to the authorities, the incident took place when the armed men approached the victim, demanding she hand over Rs 54,000 in cash and her mobile phone. In addition, the robbers stole her purse, which contained bank cards, her national identity card, and other important documents before fleeing the scene.

The police have launched an investigation and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area in an attempt to identify and apprehend the suspects. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.
