Woman Freed After Month-Long Imprisonment by In-Laws

Lahore:A woman from Hafizabad, who had been imprisoned at a home for nearly a month, was freed by the Virtual Women police station.

The woman called the helpline 15 and reported that her in-laws had locked her up due to a financial dispute after deceiving her into visiting their house.

Following her complaint, the Virtual Women police station promptly directed local police to the location, where they successfully rescued her.

The woman has been safely reunited with her brothers, and the Hafizabad police have initiated legal action against the accused.
