Peshawar: The scenic Kalash Valley in Chitral came alive with excitement as traditional winter sports competitions attracted a large number of locals and tourists.

The competitions featured traditional games such as Buzkashi, Horseback Archery, Wrestling, and Stone Throwing, with enthusiastic participation from young athletes.

The local commander of Frontier Corps North attended as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.

Held annually, these sports events not only celebrate local traditions but also serve as a major attraction for tourists, boosting the region’s tourism sector.

The event was organized in collaboration with the district administration, Frontier Corps North, and the Winds Eagle Polo Club in Bamboret.
