Why Was Farah Khan Hesitant to Cast Katrina?

Islamabad: Famous Bollywood choreographer and director Farah Khan has said that she was hesitant while initially casting Katrina Kaif in the film ‘Tees Maar Khan’.Akshay Kumar was in the lead role in this movie, which was released in 2010. Although ‘Tees Maar Khan’ failed to impress the audience, the song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ was a success.Farah Khan, who had previously done hits like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’, explained the reason behind her hesitation to cast Katrina, saying that at first I had to choose who I wanted to be. I live a little far away.She said, “When I cast Katrina in ‘Tees Maar Khan’, the primary reason was her previous collaborations with Akshay, having acted together in six or seven films. Additionally, my presence in ‘Agar Magar Mein Tha’ further solidified the decision.”Farah Khan expressed her happiness that, despite the film’s failure, her song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ became a hit.
