Known for his discipline and hard work, Akshay has been deeply engrossed in promoting his eagerly awaited film “Sarfira,” which premiered today.

Fans had hoped he would take a break to attend the wedding after Anant personally invited him, but unfortunately, Akshay will miss both the event and the final stages of his film’s promotions due to testing positive for COVID-19.

A source from the production team shared with HT City, “Amid promoting ‘Sarfira,’ Akshay Kumar started feeling unwell and decided to undergo testing upon learning some of his promotion team members had tested positive for COVID-19. 

His positive result came in Friday morning, prompting him to immediately isolate himself. It’s disappointing, but Akshay has prioritized safety amidst the resurgence of COVID-19 during the monsoon season.”
