Islamabad: Bollywood film producer and screenwriter Karan Rao has characterized his split from the acclaimed actor Aamir Khan as remarkable.

Despite their divorce, Aamir Khan and Karan Rao are frequently spotted together, particularly during important family events like their daughter Ira Khan’s wedding, where their amicable chemistry, including a notable kiss, drew media attention. Subsequently, Karan Rao recently addressed their divorce publicly for the first time.

In his revelation, filmmaker Karan Rao emphasized the positive rapport he maintains not only with his former spouse Aamir Khan but also with his ex-wife Reena Dutta and their children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan.

Karan Rao’s discussion unveiled that he still resides in the same building as the superstar.

Speaking to ‘India TV,’ Kiran Rao highlighted the challenge of navigating societal expectations and perceptions regarding divorce, stressing the importance of prioritizing family unity. Despite the societal stigma associated with divorce, Karan Rao explained that their unique situation defies conventional norms, emphasizing that their divorce does not entail estrangement but rather ongoing collaboration and cohabitation for the sake of their son and familial harmony.

Kiran Rao underscored that their unconventional divorce may take time for society to comprehend and accept, given the prevailing norms surrounding marital separation and its implications.
