Who Did Shadab Blame for Defeat against Gladiators?

Islamabad: Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan blamed DRS technology for the defeat in the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United were facing each other at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore yesterday (Thursday).
In the post-match analysis, Islamabad United’s captain, Shadab Khan, attributed the loss to what he perceived as a failure in the Decision Review System (DRS) technology.
He emphasized that a particular moment in the match, involving a review, was pivotal and suggested that errors like these should not occur in a prestigious tournament.
Shadab Khan pointed out an instance where he believed the DRS technology had failed. Specifically, he referenced a review where a ball bowled by Agha Salman was shown, which he felt was a crucial moment in the match.
According to Shadab, the ball did not behave as expected, affecting the outcome of the review.
The contentious review in question occurred during the 11th over of Quetta Gladiators’ innings when their captain, Riley Russo, was initially given out lbw by the on-field umpire Aleem Dar. However, upon review, Russo was declared not out, altering the course of the game.
Despite the disappointment over the DRS decision, credit was given to Quetta Gladiators’ players, particularly Riley Russo, who was declared the player of the match for his contribution of 34 runs.
Other notable performances included Jason Roy’s 37 runs and Sharfin Rutherford’s 29 runs, which collectively led to Quetta Gladiators’ victory over Islamabad United by three wickets.
