Islamabad: This quick and easy Creamy Tawa Chicken recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal, offering a delightful blend of spices and rich creaminess. Try this recipe for a delicious twist on traditional chicken dishes!

Ingredients:

For Chicken Marination:

  • Boneless chicken thighs: 7-8 pieces
  • Yogurt: 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
  • Red chili flakes: 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder: 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder: 1 tsp

For Creamy Tawa Chicken:

  • Oil: as required
  • Marinated chicken
  • Green chilies (sliced): 1/2 cup
  • Cream: 1/2 cup
  • Fresh coriander: as required
  • Green chilies (sliced) and lemon slices for garnish

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili flakes, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat oil on a tawa (griddle) and add the marinated chicken. Cook until the chicken is 80% done, cutting it into chunks as it cooks.

Add sliced green chilies and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Stir in the cream and continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked. Mix in fresh coriander for added flavor.
