According to a report by HDblog, the decision affects smartphones that are at least a decade old, with older models unable to support necessary updates and features. As a result, users with these devices may face difficulties in using WhatsApp after the cut-off date.

The affected devices include:

  • Galaxy Note 2
  • Galaxy Ace 3
  • Galaxy S4 Mini

Motorola

  • Moto G (1st Gen)
