WhatsApp Launches ‘Favorite Chats and Groups’ Feature for iOS Users

Islamabad: WhatsApp has officially launched its highly anticipated “Favorite Chats and Groups” feature for iOS users with the release of version 24.16.79, now available on the App Store.
According to WABetaInfo, this update introduces the ability for users to mark specific contacts and groups as favorites. These favorites will be prominently displayed at the top of the calls tab and can be easily filtered in the chats list.
To access this feature, users can go to the app settings, open the favorites section, and add, manage, or reorder their favorites with ease.
Additionally, the update includes an improved calling interface, offering more intuitive and accessible controls. While the update is available now, some users may see these new features rolled out gradually over the next few weeks.
This enhancement allows WhatsApp users to prioritize their most important contacts and groups for quicker access.
