WhatsApp Introduces Feature to Connect Users with Support Team

Islamabad: WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to directly connect with human support through its web client. As reported by WABetaInfo, the latest beta version includes a “Chat with Us” option in the Help Section, which enables users to initiate a conversation with WhatsApp’s support team.

Currently, users must go through a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs) before they can contact support. This new feature aims to simplify that process, offering a quicker way for users to get help.

When users select the “Chat with Us” option, they will be informed that responses will come via WhatsApp chat. Although initial responses may still be automated or AI-generated, users can request to speak with a human representative if needed.

The feature is designed to enhance the support experience, especially for users on the web client, in cases where AI assistance is not sufficient. It is still under development and is expected to be available in a future update of the web client.
