Islamabad:Pakistani singer Asim Azhar has left fans guessing after deleting all photos and posts from his Instagram account, shortly after posting an emotional farewell message.

The singer’s Instagram feed was wiped clean minutes after he shared a story that read “Allah Hafiz,” prompting widespread speculation about the reason behind his sudden move. Fans who rushed to check his profile found it completely empty.

The development followed Azhar’s recent live performance in Islamabad, where he expressed frustration over the event’s delay and management issues.

This is not the first time the singer has cleared his social media feed. In 2024, ahead of his album Bematlab, Azhar had similarly deleted all Instagram posts — a move later revealed to be part of a promotional campaign.

His latest “Allah Hafiz” message has once again sparked rumours of a possible new music project, with fans suggesting it could be a teaser for an upcoming album or single.

Meanwhile, Azhar was recently seen celebrating actor Yashma Gill’s birthday alongside fellow artist Hania Aamir, where the trio appeared enjoying music and dancing to Pal Pal.

He first gained prominence at a young age through YouTube covers and soon became a household name with chart-topping hits like Jo Tu Na Mila, Tera Woh Pyar, and Ghalat Fehmi.

Over time, Azhar has cultivated a devoted fan following at home and abroad, earning praise for his performances on Coke Studio and at major live events.

Beyond his music, he often makes headlines for his personal life and social media activity, where his intriguing posts and cryptic teasers keep fans guessing. Constantly evolving and experimenting with new sounds, Asim Azhar continues to establish himself as a defining voice of Pakistan’s new wave of music.
