Islamabad: As Samsung gears up for its anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, fresh leaks suggest that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could introduce notable design and camera upgrades, drawing significant attention from Galaxy enthusiasts.

Recent reports indicate that the flagship device may feature a redesigned S Pen with a new insertion mechanism. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which allowed users to insert the stylus either way, the S26 Ultra’s S Pen reportedly must be inserted with the button facing upward.

Content creator Sahil Karoul, who claims to have accessed a retail unit, confirmed that the stylus aligns specifically in one direction. While this limits flexibility, the design ensures the curved end of the S Pen sits flush with the device’s frame, preventing any protrusion.

New Telephoto Zoom Technology

Beyond the S Pen changes, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumoured to introduce an upgraded telephoto system. According to reports citing leaked images published by SamMobile, the device may feature a circular lens opening — a departure from the rectangular camera housing seen in earlier Ultra models.

The new camera setup is expected to incorporate Samsung’s All Lenses on Prism (ALoP) zoom technology, designed to enhance optical performance while maintaining a slimmer profile.

In terms of specifications, the S26 Ultra is tipped to retain a 200-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a dual telephoto configuration offering 3x and 5x optical zoom.

The device is also expected to feature wider apertures across its lenses, improving light capture and delivering sharper images with reduced noise, particularly in low-light conditions.

Samsung has yet to officially confirm the specifications, but anticipation continues to build ahead of its next flagship unveiling.
