Weather Turns Cold After Drizzling in Multan

Multan: After a light drizzle, the weather in the city turned cold on Friday, with intermittent rainfall throughout the day.

The sky was enveloped by black clouds, bringing a refreshing breeze that was welcomed by the citizens.

However, the day was marred by power outages and electricity fluctuations in some parts of the city, causing inconvenience to the residents.

In response to the rainy weather, Chaudhary Muhammad Danish, the Managing Director of WASA, instructed all sewerage and disposal station divisions to remain vigilant.

Sewerage officers and staff were instructed to be prepared for drainage operations at all times in case of rain, with standby generators activated in disposal stations.

Additionally, all disposal stations were directed to operate at full capacity.

Furthermore, officials were instructed to remain in the field until water was completely drained in the event of heavy rainfall.

Local meteorological forecasts predicted continued cloudy weather with a possibility of thunderstorm rain over the next 24 hours. Temperatures ranged between a minimum of 15.0 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 23.3 degrees Celsius.
