Wall Collapse in Kasur Claims Lives of Two Seminary Students

Faisalabad/Kasur/Karachi: At least five people lost their lives, and eleven others sustained injuries in separate incidents across Pakistan during the last 24 hours.
According to details, eleven individuals were injured when the roof of a house collapsed during a Mehndi ceremony in Faisalabad on Wednesday.
Rescue officials reported that the roof caved in due to overcrowding during the event. According to hospital sources, eight sustained minor injuries, while three, including a child, were admitted for treatment.
Kasur: In Chunian, two children lost their lives after an old wall of the Central Eidgah collapsed. Rescue sources identified the victims as Ahmed (12) and Dilawar (6), both students of a local seminary. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
Karachi: Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic road accident near Chamra Chowrangi, Karachi. A high-speed bus ran over a motorcycle, killing Subhan and Moeez. Two young boys accompanying them miraculously survived. The bus driver fled the scene, and police are working to locate the driver and the involved Mazda coach.
DI Khan: A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a bus on the Indus Highway near Gomal University. The deceased, identified as 28-year-old Sajjad, died on the spot. Police are investigating the incident.
These incidents underscore the urgent need for improved safety measures in public and private spaces to prevent further tragedies.
