Islamabad: Vivo has shifted the spotlight to camera technology ahead of the expected launch of its upcoming flagship, the vivo X300 Ultra, revealing new details that highlight the device’s focus on advanced imaging performance.

In the latest teaser shared by Han Boxiao, the company showcased the internal layout of the phone’s rear camera system. The image confirms that the handset will include a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, designed to deliver higher quality images and smoother video recording.

The ultrawide lens is equipped with the Sony LYTIA‑818 sensor, which features a large 1/1.28-inch sensor size, a specification typically associated with premium smartphone cameras.

According to the company, the sensor also supports CIPA 6.0 stabilization, an upgrade from the previous CIPA 5.0 standard, aimed at improving video stability and enhancing low-light photography.

The teaser image also hints at an additional camera component that remains undisclosed. A fourth sensor, partially hidden behind an emoji in the shared graphic, is believed to be designed to enhance the phone’s color accuracy.

Industry speculation suggests it could be a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor, though the company has not confirmed this detail.

The upcoming device is expected to debut in China later this month before reaching international markets. Reports indicate the smartphone may run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and could feature a 7,000mAh battery, positioning it as a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment.
