Viral Video: Trader Arrested for Torturing Housemaids

Faisalabad: The Madina Town police have arrested a local trader on the orders of the City Police Officer (CPO) on charges of torturing his housemaids.

According to a police spokesman, the incident involved two girls: 12-year-old Eman Fatima, daughter of Muhammad Haneef Jutt, and 13-year-old Manahal, daughter of Rafaqat Ali Jutt, both from Sheikhupura.

They were working as housemaids for Arshad Sheikh in Edan Valley.

The girls were returning to visit their families when Sheikh intercepted them and subjected them to severe torture.

The incident was captured on video by bystanders and shared on social media.

Upon learning of the situation, CPO Kamran Adil took immediate action, directing the police to ensure the swift arrest of the perpetrator.

A special team was formed to carry out the raid, leading to Sheikh’s arrest from Edan Valley. The accused has been detained following the registration of a case, and further investigation is ongoing, according to the spokesman.
