Viral ‘Titanic’ Fan Transforms Apartment into Iconic Ship

Islamabad: A devoted fan of Titanic has gone viral on social media after transforming her Manhattan apartment into a detailed tribute to the infamous ship featured in the 1997 blockbuster film.

Sarah Boll, a 38-year-old model and content creator, spent hundreds of days recreating elements of the RMS Titanic inside her home, drawing inspiration from both the historical vessel and the movie. Videos documenting the makeover and the reactions of friends and family have attracted widespread attention online.

Boll said she has watched Titanic “about 500 times” and relied largely on her imagination to guide the transformation. Her living room was redesigned to resemble the ship’s Verandah Café, while her bedroom reflects the appearance of the vessel after the wreckage.

The social media personality has also visited historical sites connected to the Titanic and incorporated related artifacts into her work. Among her do-it-yourself projects is a necklace made using coal recovered from the wreckage.

“I would just buy tons of different shades of blue fabric and experiment with that,” Boll said in an earlier interview with People magazine, explaining that the idea initially began as a Halloween decoration before evolving into a full-scale apartment redesign.

While many fans online encouraged Boll to open the space to visitors, she has already moved on to her next creative project, transforming her apartment from the Titanic theme into the “World of Oz.”
