US Senator Extends Condolences to Balochistan Victims

Islamabad: Senator Chris Van Hollen, representing Maryland in the United States Senate, extended his sympathies to the victims and families affected by the election campaign attacks in Balochistan. 

He penned a letter to the Pakistani ambassador, commending the people of Pakistan for their robust engagement in the elections.

Emphasizing the importance of investigating allegations of electoral malpractice and interference, the senator underscored the necessity of a competent government to address Pakistan’s economic and security concerns.

Highlighting shared interests between Pakistan and the US, Senator Van Hollen reiterated the significance of upholding democratic principles, including conducting fair elections and honoring the people’s will.
