US Imposes Sanctions on Iran’s Oil Sector After Israel Attack

Islamabad: Following the recent attack on Israel, the United States has enacted new sanctions targeting Iran’s oil sector.
According to Arab media reports, these sanctions affect companies and vessels involved in the trade and transportation of Iranian oil.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Iran will face consequences for its actions following the unprecedented attack on Israel. He emphasized that the sanctions aim to curb funding for Iran’s missile and nuclear programs.
This month, Iran launched a significant offensive against Israel, firing over 400 ballistic missiles. Iranian media reported that missiles were launched from multiple cities, including Isfahan, Tabriz, Khorramabad, Karaj, and Arak, triggering sirens across Israel, including in occupied Jerusalem
