Unrelenting Heat Wave Pushes Karachi’s Temperatures to 38°C

Karachi: The ongoing heat wave continues to grip Karachi, with temperatures expected to range between 36°C and 38°C today, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The city’s weather remains hot and humid, showing no immediate signs of relief. Humidity levels are predicted to rise between 45% and 55% by evening, intensifying the discomfort for residents.
The PMD has issued an advisory urging the public, particularly vulnerable groups such as the elderly and children, to take precautionary measures against heatstroke. Citizens are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours.
With no respite forecast in the coming days, Karachiites are preparing to endure continued high temperatures and oppressive humidity.
