Under-Custody Accused Commits Suicide in Khanpur Police Lockup

Peshawar: An under-custody accused, Sajid Ali, a resident of Muhalla Piranwala, tragically took his own life by hanging himself in the Khanpur police station lockup, Haripur district, in the early hours of Sunday, police reported.

According to authorities, Ali had been arrested in connection with multiple cases. A CCTV footage of the incident is available. Following the incident, the body was transferred to THQ Khanpur for a medico-legal examination.
