Two More Polio Cases Reported in Sindh

Karachi: Two new polio cases have been reported in Sindh, bringing the total number of cases in Pakistan this year to 39, according to the National Institute of Health.

The latest cases involve a girl from Sanghar district and a boy from Mirpur Khas district. Of the total cases reported so far, 20 are from Balochistan, 12 from Sindh, five from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and one each from Punjab and Islamabad.

In response, a nationwide anti-polio campaign is set to launch on October 28. Health experts urge parents to ensure their children participate in the campaign to protect them from this crippling disease.
