Two killed in Suspected Suicide Blast in Peshawar

Islamabad: At least two persons were killed and another reportedly injured in an explosion in the Board Bazar area of Peshawar on Sunday, as reported by Daily Jang.
According to local police sources, as the said news website writes, the deceased and injured have been shifted to hospital for medico legal formalities.
SSP (Operations) Kashif Aftab Abbasi has confirmed that the incident was an alleged suicide blast. He said that a heavy police force has been dispatched to the spot.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned a terrorist attack in the Board Bazaar area of Peshawar.
The Prime Minister prayed for the high ranks of the departed souls and expressed condolences with the bereaved families, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release on Sunday morning.
The newly elected PM also directed the provision of all possible medical treatment to the injured.
The prime minister reiterated his resolve to root out terrorism.
