Two Killed in Firing, One Dies in Accident in Islamabad

Islamabad: At least three people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in separate violent incidents reported from the Islamabad region on Tuesday, according to police and rescue sources.

In the first incident, two persons were killed and two others injured in a firing exchange between two groups near the Shehzad Town area of Islamabad. Initial police reports indicate the altercation erupted over a dispute related to milk distribution.

Upon receiving reports, police teams rushed to the scene and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.

Meanwhile, in Wah Cantonment, a young man, identified as Shoukat Khan, died in a tragic road accident on GT Road near Swedish College.

According to rescue officials, the victim was on his way to work when a speeding dumper, driven recklessly by an unknown driver, hit him, causing fatal injuries. The driver fled the scene before authorities could apprehend him.

Police have registered a case against the unknown driver, and further investigation is ongoing.
