Two Brothers Among Four Killed by Mystery Illness in Kashmore

Islamabad: A mysterious illness has claimed four lives in a remote village of Sindh, prompting urgent intervention from health authorities as fear grips the local community.

The fatalities occurred in the village of Atta Muhammad Khosa in Kashmore district, where residents say the disease surfaced suddenly and spread rapidly within days. 

According to locals, four children have died within a week, including two brothers from the same family.

Family members identified the deceased brothers as Irshad Ali and Irfan Ali Solangi, stating that both children passed away within 24 hours of each other after experiencing sudden health complications. Villagers reported that the illness was marked by severe throat-related symptoms followed by rapid deterioration.

Other victims have been identified as Saddam Hussain and Sara Bibi Solangi. Residents described a pattern in which affected individuals showed symptoms and worsened dramatically within a single day.

Health department officials have dispatched a medical team to the village to investigate the cause of the illness and prevent further spread. 

Experts are currently collecting samples and assessing patients in the area to determine whether the deaths were caused by a viral outbreak, bacterial infection, or another underlying factor.

Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and report any similar symptoms immediately, while efforts continue to identify the source of the outbreak and implement containment measures. Input from Dunya News.
