Two Brothers Among 7 Killed in Separate Incidents

Islamabad: In a tragic incident in Swabi, a youth named Salman allegedly shot his two uncles to death, Shamsher Ali and Akhtar Ali, over a property dispute.

The shooting, which also injured Salman’s cousin Zulkafil, occurred late last night in the limits of Swabi police station. The suspected murderer fled the scene after the attack.

The victims and the injured have been taken to the District Headquarters Hospital. The Swabi police have launched a search operation to apprehend the fugitive.

Land Dispute Claims Three Lives

A deadly clash over a land dispute resulted in three deaths and one injury in Abdul-kheil, DI Khan.

Imran, the son of Maaz Ullah, and Ahmad Khan from rival factions were killed during the exchange of gunfire. Imran’s brother Furqan sustained injuries.The local police have filed reports from both parties involved.

Teenager Allegedly Tortured

In a disturbing case of violence, a teenager was tortured and had her hair cut off by a group of influential people, including women, in Mamu Kanjan, Tehsil Tandlianwala. The incident occurred in the absence of the girl’s father, Riaz.

The police have arrested two suspects, Khalid and Sultan, and are searching for the remaining accused, including Anwar Bibi, Zakia Bibi, Nusrat Bibi, Mazhar, and an unidentified individual.

Two Killed, Three Injured

In Kasur district, a speeding van collided with a motorcycle near Fatehpur, resulting in the death of two motorcyclists and injuries to three others. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. The police and rescue teams have transported the bodies to the hospital, and further investigation is ongoing.

Accident Claims Three Lives

A road accident on Jouharabad-Khushab road near Chaso Phatak claimed three lives. Ehtasham (34), Tahir (39), and Naveed (43) from Shumaar village were killed when their motorcycle collided with a speeding truck.

Rescue 1122 and police arrived at the scene, and the bodies have been moved to the hospital for further examination.

Seven Injured in Collision

At least seven passengers were injured on Thursday when an air-conditioned bus collided with a trailer from the rear near the Shah Ruknuddin Alam Interchange.

The bus, traveling from Lahore to Bahawalpur via Multan, crashed into the trailer, resulting in injuries to seven passengers.

Rescue-1122 responded to the scene, transporting five of the injured to Nishtar Hospital. The remaining two received first aid on-site. The Motorway Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
