Two arrested in Kallar Syedan vehicle fraud

Rawalpindi: Kallar Syedan Police arrested two suspects on charges of criminal breach of trust and recovered a vehicle worth Rs2.2 million, a police spokesman said Thursday.

According to police, the suspects had taken the vehicle on rent from a citizen but later refused to return it. Following the owner’s complaint, a case was registered, and both were apprehended.

Superintendent of Police Saddar, Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar, said the accused would be produced before court with solid evidence, adding that strict action would be taken against those involved in fraud and criminal breach of trust.
