Trump’s Criminal Trials: Where Do They Stand Now?

Washington: The year 2024 has proven to be a challenging one for former President Donald Trump, who faces multiple criminal trials. Despite the possibility of being sentenced before the November 5 presidential election, Trump has successfully delayed three of his four trials until after the election.
Trump’s legal team has utilized a variety of tactics, including appeals and a broad immunity ruling by the US Supreme Court, to push back the trial dates.
Although he has been charged with a total of 88 criminal counts, he has only been found guilty in the least serious case related to falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels.
In a recent development, a judge has delayed Trump’s sentencing in this case to November 26, weeks after the presidential election, granting him additional time before any potential sentencing.
