Triple Murder Over Old Enmity

Faisalabad: Three people lost their lives due to an old feud in the Balochi police station area on Monday. 

According to police, Rana Asif, also known as Atif Khan

, a resident of Chak No. 72-RB Bahmani Wala, allegedly opened fire on his rivals late Sunday night to settle an old score.

Rana Ghufran Ali was critically injured and died on the spot, while Muhammad Siddique Khan and Rana Muhammad Zubair succumbed to their injuries at Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Khurarianwala.

The police have taken the bodies into custody and initiated an investigation to apprehend the suspect, who fled the scene after the shooting. City Police Officer (CPO) Kamran Adil has taken serious notice of the triple murder, directing SP (Jaranwala Division) to investigate the matter promptly and ensure the immediate arrest of the perpetrator, according to a police spokesman.
