Tri-Series Fever Rises as Trophy Unveiled

Islamabad: The trophy for the upcoming tri-nation T20 cricket series featuring Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe was unveiled on Monday during a special ceremony in the federal capital.

Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha, Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka, and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza jointly revealed the trophy and posed for official photographs. The three skippers expressed confidence and determination ahead of the week-long series.

The tournament begins Tuesday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, where Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in the opening match. Each team will play four matches, with the top two sides advancing to the final scheduled for Saturday, November 29.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan T20 squad held an optional training session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium as preparations gained momentum. Players who participated in the session included Salman Ali Agha, Babar Azam, Mohammad Nawaz, Saim Ayub, Usman Khan, Salman Mirza, Usman Tariq, and Abdul Samad.

Under the supervision of the coaching staff, the session focused on batting, bowling, and fielding drills as the hosts geared up for their opening clash.
