News Desk

Islamabad: As the ICC T20 World Cup kicked off, reports of grievances swiftly emerged.

Media outlets revealed that Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Ireland are grappling with logistical challenges, prompting formal complaints to the ICC.

Sources indicate that the trio is encountering difficulties concerning travel arrangements and accommodations.

Media outlets disclosed that South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Ireland encountered significant travel disruptions from Florida to New York.

Following matches in scorching Florida conditions, both Sri Lanka and Ireland endured a grueling 7-hour chartered flight, originally scheduled to arrive in New York at 8 pm on Friday but ultimately landing at 5 am the next day.

Due to their delayed arrival, Sri Lanka was compelled to cancel their morning training session, exacerbated by their hotel’s distant location from the practice venue, requiring a hefty hour and a half commute.

Conversely, the Indian team enjoys proximity to both the practice venue and stadium, with accommodations conveniently located.

Additionally, the Indian team benefits from an increased concentration of matches at one venue, further streamlining their logistical arrangements.
